Review: The Stranger Within

The Stranger Within The Stranger Within by Kathryn Croft
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Callie - with a mom who ran away; a dad who is schizophrenic....a husband whose first wife died and will never be replaced - and - two step children who hate her. How is that for a life. The story is based on what her stepsons put her through and her fears of becoming like her father. She is telling her story to the police so it jumps back and forth (but easy to follow) and through out the book you dont know who she killed but is being charged with murder. Not until the end do you find out the REAL story. And you will be surprised. I would have given it 5 stars except it leaves you hanging as to what actually happens when the REAL STORY comes out.
