Review: An Innocent Client

An Innocent Client An Innocent Client by Scott Pratt
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

All Joe Dillard ever wanted was to defend an innocent client. But when a preacher is found brutally murdered in a Tennessee motel room and a young girl is accused he can't resist the chance to represent someone who might actually be innocent. Joe already has his hands full with a drug addicted sister and a mother with Alzheimer's, but Joe's commitment to the case never wavers despite his personal troubles and professional demands that threaten to destroy him.

I found this book fast paced and full of a few surprises. Joe Dillard keeps sane among the various threads that keep unraveling around him. Up to the end the surprises come along with the way he handles cases....looking for that innocent client. Definitely going to read #2 in this series....
